Social Care and Support Practice Tools for Reflection, Decision-Making and Supervision

Built for practitioners, supervisors and teams. Used in real practice.

Search our library of interactive tools designed to support supervision conversations, complex assessments, mental capacity decisions, safeguarding reviews and CPD follow-up. Tools work for individual reflection, team discussions and live casework across social work, NHS mental health, adult social care and the wider support workforce.

Free for individual practitioners while we build and pilot. We are growing the DCC-i Portal alongside the people who use it — create an account, use the tools in your practice, and tell us what helps.

Frequently asked questions

Who are the DCC-i interactive tools for?

They are built for anyone working across social care and support — social workers, social care workers, AMHPs, BIAs, supervisors, managers, safeguarding practitioners, NHS mental health colleagues and voluntary sector partners. If your work involves reflection, assessment or difficult decisions, the tools are designed for you.

How much do the tools cost?

While we build and pilot the DCC-i Portal, the Interactive Tools Library is free for individual practitioners. Just create an account to get started. Organisations can also explore partner and team access.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

You can read about the tools without an account. To use them in your practice, create a free individual account — it takes a minute and there is no payment required during the pilot.

How are the tools used in real practice?

Practitioners use them in supervision to structure reflective conversations, during assessments to support professional reasoning, in team discussions to explore complex cases, and as CPD follow-up to embed learning.

What practice areas do the tools cover?

Risk, safeguarding and self-neglect; mental health and mental capacity; person-centred and relationship-based practice; neurodiversity, diversity and inclusion; legal literacy and professional decision-making; and co-production, lived experience and advocacy.

Will the tools stay free?

Individual access is free during the pilot while we build alongside practitioners. We will always be open and clear with members about access before anything changes.
