About the Resource Library
What is the DCC-i Resource Library?
It’s a growing collection of CPD resources for social care and support practitioners — briefings, toolkits, case law updates, reflective prompts, frameworks and practice guides. Everything is chosen to be useful in real work: supervision, team learning, individual CPD and live casework.
Who is it for?
Social workers, adult social care practitioners, support workers, registered and team managers, supervisors, practice educators, AMHPs, BIAs, mental capacity and safeguarding leads, and NHS mental health and local authority teams. If you work in social care or support, it’s built for you.
What topics does it cover?
Mental capacity and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding, best interests and Court of Protection updates, legal literacy, human rights, strengths-based practice, reflective supervision, and complex decision-making across adult social care and mental health.
Does it cost anything?
The Practice Library is currently free to registered users. Create a free account to browse, save resources to My Space and mark them as read.
Is DCC-i a recognised CPD provider?
Yes — DCC-i is approved by the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) as a CPD training provider.
How do I use it for CPD evidence?
Once you’re signed in, mark resources as read to keep a record, and save the ones you want to return to. You can use any resource in supervision, team discussion or your own reflection, and draw on it as evidence of continuing professional development.
