About this page. Each weekend in the interactive ADHD Awareness Month journal became a double-page spread: a comic panel, the weekend’s written reflections and a small reflective mini-game. This page brings the five spreads together. The comic panels and mini-game wording come from the journal; the written reflections are linked rather than repeated. This introduction and the headings are new.
The mini-games are played inside the journal. They are not scored: each one is a short prompt to pause and think.
Weekend One: meet Barry and follow the web (3–4 October)
Two longer weekend entries give us room to meet Barry properly and replace judgement with curiosity.

Read the written reflections: So… Let Me Introduce You to Barry · I Thought This Was Just Me.
Mini-game: One decision at a time
Choose what you would do with each message. There is no prize for inbox zero.
- A two-minute factual reply
- A complex request needing thought
- Something another person owns
- An obsolete notification
For each one, choose: Do now · Diary · Delegate · Delete.
Make four intentional decisions. Intentional beats perfect.
Weekend Two: what this week has taught me (10–11 October)
Two reflective entries connect sensory overload, misunderstanding, rejection, rumination and people pleasing — and look beyond the Monsters themselves.

Read the written reflections: What This Week Has Taught Me · More Than the Monsters.
Mini-game: Connect three tabs
Pick any three. Your task is to explain the connection — there is deliberately no single correct answer.
- Risk
- Sensory needs
- Best interests
- Inbox
- Supervision
- Lived experience
- Reasonable adjustment
- Coffee
What connects them?
Weekend Three: strengths, costs and the Emotional Sponge (17–18 October)
Saturday explores the uncomfortable overlap between strengths and difficulties. Sunday adds the Emotional Sponge as a bonus Monster about empathy, absorption and boundaries.
From the interactive journal

Read the written reflections: When the Things I’m Good at Trip Me Up.
Mini-game: Reality reboot
Hyperfocus has been running for a while. Check four things before deciding whether to keep going.
- What time is it?
- Have I had water?
- Have I eaten?
- What is my body telling me?
Reboot complete. Now choose deliberately: continue, pause or stop.
Weekend Four: the work you do not see (24–25 October)
A weekend about hidden effort, masking, adjustments and having more choice about where energy goes.
From the interactive journal

Read the written reflections: What You Don’t See · Unmasking Isn’t Taking the Mask Off.
Mini-game: Underneath the presentation
Select an outward presentation, then consider more than one possible experience underneath it.
- Calm and agreeable
- Very professional
- Quiet in the meeting
For each one, choose: Comfortable · Processing · Masking · Overloaded.
The point is possibility, not diagnosis from presentation.
The Monsters’ Ball (31 October)
The month closes by bringing the whole cast together: not defeated or fixed, but better understood.
From the interactive journal

Read the written reflections: The Monsters’ Ball.
Mini-game: Choose your route
Pick the route that would work for you today. Every route reaches the same outcome.
- Plan it out
- Explore & adapt
- Step by step
- Creative route
- Accessible route
Every route is a valid route. The outcome matters; identical process does not.
